Samurize replacement?

I've been using Samurize for as long as I remember. Had it on all my fresh installs to list all kinds of useful things. I love the configurability and personalization of it. But it seams there hasnt been an update for 4 years now lol, and I'm wonder if, even though it still works fine, theres a better replacement out?
FYI I'm not a fan of windows sidebar....

Think rainmeter is really the only replacement for it. I tried it out and I still prefer samurize.

Ah, I miss Samurize

Same it doesn't work properly on Win7 and I'm too lazy to learn how to make my own skins for Rainmeter

Huh? Works perfectly fine under windows 7 for me!

I'm sure there were some meters that weren't supported....

Ofc! Everything is fine. Although I might not be using the meters you mentioned. I use rss feed, standard hd meters, ram, ping, countdowns, all those bananas!

One thing is when it goes to install it says it doesnt work on this version of windows. But run in compatability mode and its fine! After that, no problems.
