San-Disk Extreme... Good?

Hi

Thinking of buying a SSD to run my OS and core programs on. (I use some fairly intensive programs that will do a lot of data transfer)

Basically what do people think of the San-disk extreme? is it worth buying £30-40 more for the Samsung 840 PRO?

I have a sandisk extreme 480gb and its great apart from some minor issues.

Sandisk just release the extreme II however, it should come in cheaper than the 840 pro.

they are a reputable brand. i would choose sd over samsung.

I have a sandisk extreme 240GB one year old, very reliable and quick too. Quality memory chips too.

Good brand with great read and write speed, and its even on offer. I am tempted myself.

I've had a SanDisk Extreme 120GB for the past few months now and not a single problem and speeds are the same as day one.

I have OS, all programs and a couple of games on it.
