Sandbox Games

JC2s production values and graphics are insanely good.

However the lack of a good storyline and mind-numbing repetitious "missions" did it in for me and it got uninstalled. Now I know the whole point of a game like JC2 is NOT to have a storyline but to just run around blasting stuff but amazingly...amazingly that gets old aftefr a while. But if it doesnt bore you then you are lucky, its a real visual treat specially the water animations & rolling forests.

I may well be splitting hairs, but to run around just blasting stuff in JC2 is a huge waste of the games potential.

I think people that didn't get on with JC2 seen it as just an open world third person shooter. The other thing being the story, I'm a sucker for a story driven game and while JC2's plot is a tad ridiculous, the overall b-movie vibe of it all was a perfect fit and I found the "plot" entertaining, the boss that pulls the ninja out of nowhere being a fine example. Not to mention some of the ridiculously funny accents

Feel free to disregard everything I've said, Commando is one of my favourite comedy films.

OP Flashpoint/ARMA/ARMA2

Epic choice of games. I loved the fact that in Flashpoint you had no invisible walls and could go where you wanted. AI was fully rendered all across the island so that you could do whatever you wanted, whenever you wanted.
