I've heard this term used about IE7 and anti-virus protection and such things, what does it mean, can someone please explain to me? :confused:

a virtual container in which untrusted programs can be safely run without effecting the rest of the system, sums it up.

IF your lookling for something like that use Safespace it is awesome and free!

Apparently IE7 uses this sandbox method when protected mode is enabled. What's strange though, is, even though in my options it says protected mode is enabled, on the bottom of any open window, it says protected mode is off?! (Bottom right of any open window)

I'd run a VM instead, that sandbox is bulletproof

Sandboxie works great as well.
