Sandforce Sf-1222 Controllers

Any idea when OcUK will be getting in any SSD using the new Sandforce SF-1222 controller. seems to be better than the current SF-1200 series, and judging by price elsewhere no dearer than the 1200.

Patriot Inferno range springs to mind.

The SF1222TA3 is not new, It's the one used in all the SF1200 series sandforce drives including the Vertex 2E. Go look at some photos of the internals in reviews if you don't believe me.

The only differences are firmware revisions, some have 28% provisioning, some have 7% provisioning. The original release firmware on the Corsair F100 was the best performing, but had some bugs so you shouldn't use it.
