Sandisk Extreme Firware R211 Performance Drop.

Just installed the latest the firmware for our 240GB and 120GB Sandisk Extreme SSD's. Both drives have had big performance drops. One drive is on X79 chipest and other is on Z68, lost up to 100 mb/s. Windows Index Wei, previously rated the drives at 7.9 each now both are 7.3?

Is it possible / safe to go back to older firmware?

yeah you should be able to flash back,i have on my corsair force gt

some new firmware wont support trim so performance drops off,that happened with my drive but newer firmware fixed trim

Thanks, think i'll downgrade. This firmware has added better trim support at the expense of speed it seems...

Leave your pc on during the day and let trim do it's thing.
Just read about this on the Sandisk forum.
