Sandy Brdige Chipset Info + Sandy Bridge-E

Which sandy bridge will replace the Intel Core i5 760 2.80GHz and how much will it cost?

Budget is around £150.

I believe this would be the 2500 or 2500k if you wanted to OC, the 2500K will be approx £170 i have heard and the 2500 about £160. You would need a new mobo aswell though, £100+ ish

It's probably a typo. Why would they be using PCI-E 1.1 for LGA1155 after years of using 2.0?
They're not. The 5GT/s signalling rate is optional, so it's quite possible to do a fully spec legal PCI-e 2.0 bus that is stuck with the original 2.5GT/s rate. This is what Intel seems to be doing, for reasons best known to themselves. How much of a problem it is in reality depends on what you're plugging in to your PCI-e slots - graphics cards don't benefit much from having 5GT/s signalling unless they run out of texture memory (at which point the frame rate craters anyway, so it's a bit academic) but I/O cards that sit in a 1x slot can be severely bottlenecked by Intel's half-speed implementation.
