Sapphire 7870

I've seen a Sapphire 7950 for £208 delivered. Personally I would save up the extra for it.
Ugh I don't have time for more saving....

Another question. Has anyone tried out these? How do they compare to the Bitfenix range. I would get Alchemy ones but the 24 pin is out of stock.

YOUR BASKET
1 x NZXT 24-Pin ATX Black Sleeved 25cm Extension Cable (CB-24P) £8.99
1 x NZXT 8-Pin (EPS12V) Black Sleeved 25cm Extension Cable - CB-8P (CB-8P) £5.99
Total : £17.95 (includes shipping : £2.48).

Personally speaking I'm not a fan of NZXT nor anything they make. However, they are just braided cables and I can't see how even NZXT could get that wrong.

I have however used Bitfenix Alchemy cables and they are absolutely stunning.

They have the same Razer gimmick feel to them. Not saying everything they make is bad but it's aimed to "pro gamers" and kids. Which is a let down for me.

As you said. How can they get braided cables wrong.

Thing is they can get braided cables wrong tbh. Some companies use just regular sleeved braid made out of nylon which feels cheap and you can see through it. The Bitfenix Alchemy cables are actually some sort of cord that feels like silk. Seriously they are gorgeous. I also noticed on the NZXT that there is white writing on their heat shrink which would annoy the friggin hell out of me :D

I've only ever seen two NZXT products in the flesh. One was a fan controller I bought that hilariously refused to fit in a 5.25" bay (it was too wide and had a steel bar on it so you couldn't even bend the sides in) and the other was the Phantom. And the Phantom had monopolised fan mounts so you can only fit NZXT fans (others don't line up without drilling holes in the side) and the NZXT fans are too deep so if you install a side fan it hits coolers like the NH-D14 and Phanteks.

That meant no side intake so my friend's GTX 460 2win used to overheat and shut down as it wasn't getting any air at all.
