Ive pre ordered one just

Site is saying ETA: 16/02/10

If ive said ill collect from the store do i need to tell anyone or will they put it to one side ??? hope so considering no where else is selling them

You will receive an e-mail once the stock has been delivered and your order has been processed. We put the item to one side for you.
 
still dont get how a 2/300 £ card needs a 80£ cable to do something that the card is ment to do. should'nt the card be able to do it without extra cables?

I agree it should do yes, but i suspect its just not viable yet to do it... maybe in 12 months time they will have it sorted as more and more people use more than 1 monitor.
 
its also to allow people to do it without buying a display port monitor

cheapest 24" display port monitor Ocuk do is £446 then you need another two on top, even if you buy the cheap ones its another £300 so £740 minimum

all three of my 24" monitors cost £426, then the adaptor is £80 so call it £500


740 - 500 = £240 saving
 
I'm glad the price hasn't dropped, got mine a little while ago, want it to stay the same or go up until Autumn at least. :p

I think the issue is they are only receiving small amounts so it will be a while before they have enough stock to list it in stock on the website, your best bet is to probably order one and they will send you one when they get to your order.

Problem with that is this site takes your money straight away. If I had a sensible eta on the product then I don't mind, but as I only have a budget of x to spend a month I don't want to wast a large portion of it sitting in someone else's bank while I could be spending it elsewhere or putting it into savings.
Don't mind if it's wait up to 2 weeks max, but beyond that i'd rather wait for stock showing on site or getting one of the guys to post here letting me know that stock is on it's way soon.
 
I have been keeping my eye on getting one of these and they do seem reasonably rare.

Then I found this which I have just ordered :)

Now I just need to decide which card to go for :confused:
