No firm eta for the Vapor X I am afraid. Will know more in the next couple of days.

Ah thanks FB,
should i hold off, or change to an ordinary one? (i.e. do you think youre likely to get some soon?)

Ok then, If it's possible Fatboy, could I change my order from the Vapor-X to the standard Sapphire HD5870?

My order number is OC966100

my stuff arrived this afternoon, looking forward to get home and set it all up 3 screen goodness on the way. Will post some pics at wknd.

Have played a few games tonight but by far the most impressive was Dirt 2, driving across three monitors is just epic!

Well at £299.99 I just couldnt resist.

Got my 5870 yesterday and now its all installed and running smoothly.

Love it :D

I will try to do a full review at the wknd but i am very impressed with the 5870 so far. It plays Crysis on high (not very high) 4xAA at 5040x1050 above 30 FPS (which for crysis is v smooth), anything else after that is a piece of cake and plenty of FPS for COD4, Far Cry 2 and Dirt 2 (all i have tested so far).

I got a 5850 at the end of last week but was unimpressed by it at 1680x1050 - coming from 8800GTS 512MB - it just wasnt enough of an improvement. For me the benchmark was to make Crysis playable with all the eyecandy and at 1680x1050 it clears 60 fps with no AA and stays 35-49 with varying levels of AA applied. This ones a keeper, the 5850's going back!

One thing i did notice in COD4 was that both the ATI cards provide superior IQ to the 8800GTS.

Creed - that setup looks ace! Does the card handle the 3 screens no bother? I'm thinking of getting a 5850 for a multi screen Flight Sim setup.

Flight Sim doesn't stress your GPU that much so no brainer here. Unless you're going to play Crysis in 5760x1200px you shall be more than happy with triple monitor setup ;)
