SAS advice

Is there a way of connecting a SAS HDD to my GA-P35C-DS3R.

I take it there would be some sort of SAS ro SATA converter but I am not sure which/where I could get one.

Any ideas.

You'll need a SAS controller card.

SAS controllers can run SATA drives but not the other way round.

While you can connect both SAS and SATA II drives to a SAS controller, you can't the other way round. That is, you cannot connect SAS drives to a SATA II controller.

Also, if you want to RAID, you usually can't mix S-ATA and SAS drives in the same array.
