I have a 300Gb Seagate Cheetah 15k.5 installed on a Dell SAS 5/i (non-raid) with a fanout cable. With one drive connected, all works just fine and dandy.
If I try to connect a 2nd Cheetah, then it's usually not detected, or sometimes it will be detected, boot into windows, and then vanish, but it's extremely rare that it will be detected.
Sometimes with the 2nd drive connected I get an INT 13H error.
Any ideas? Is it the cable maybe? Or possibly the fact that it's a PCI-e 8x and I'm running it in one of my PCI-e 16x slots on my A8N32 deluxe?
It's baffling!
