Sat Nav Internal Flash Memory, HELP :(

Hi,
I have a satnav and was attempting to update the software on it.
I plugged in the satnav to my PC, gave me the 2 internal drives in 'My Computer', both were fully accessible.
I copied the stuff off them as a backup.

Then I tried to format to get them completely wiped clean.

Now I can't access the drives at all, they come up in 'My Computer' but just says 'please insert disk' when you double click on the drives.

Can I retrieve the drives? I can't get the satnav working again without them =|
any help would be greatly appreciated!

Try the manufactuer's website, usually an updater tool on them.

So far, i've just downloaded the HP formatting tool, and that actually recognises the drives with the correct sizes (eg 199mb and 19mb).
However, I go to format the drives using the tool and it basically says 'Write Protected'

How can i get around this?

FIXED!!!
After using the HP tool, Windows recognised the drive volumes, and windows let me format them! PHEW!
