Sat Nav/Iphone Car Mount

Hi

Asking the people for some advice

Does anyone have experience/have purchased a decent car mount that can hold a Garmin Sat Nav and can then also be utilised to hold an iphone (when i dont have the sat nav on/im using it).

Ive seen a few anti-slip mats on amazon/ebay that the mount that you get with the sat nav can be attached (suction cup)

But nothing thats a dual...

Does anyone have any experience of say, using the antslip matt, then one of the phone suction cups...so i could get one of these and then mount the Phone on that?
Or i could use the magnet product and then buy an extra magnet for the back of the sat nav.

Basically im trying to save space as i also have a dash cam mounted up behind the rear view mirror.

Not sure if im over complicating this while trying to achieve something more flexible.

Any suggestions welcome :-)
 
I've had anti slip, suction cup and magnetic, and magnetic is by far the best imo, the one i got came with an extra disc anyway.

if you have a case it just goes behind, if you don't have a case it sticks on very snuggly, but you ca still feel it in your hand and obviously see it, so may put some off.

it hasn't fallen off yet, unlike the anti slip mat i had that did occasionally slip and/or phone slipped off.
 
Thank you..i was thinking the magnetic one maybe the answer after seeing how they work and look like.
Do you think a magnetic one could be used for a sat nav as well. i.e magnetic holder, two discs so that i can attach it to an iphone and also a sat nav (using at different times)

Thanks il take a look. Mines a Garmin 30/40 of which both weigh less than 150g. Plus have screens smaller than 6 inches.
Not sure whether to get two magnetic ones now or two of the others.....As i will move the sat nav from one car to the other
