Sat Nav Phone?

Whats the best or top few phones which have really good satnav (for work). Need a new phone as been using a 3310i for a few months and miss internet, camera a colour screen etc. Also if had Wifi for free surfing at home would be good also.

Ideally available on o2 so dont have to move but if worth it will!

I have an X10, can you put tomtom on this? If not what is the best, it has wisepilot is this any good?

For satnav i would buy a cheap tomtom or garmin gps...

It far better using a proper sat nav then a mobile phone one..

Most people are going to recommend a HTC desire which coincidently is what I'm using right now sitting out side of Tesco waiting for my wife to finish the shopping, great phone that ticks all the boxes :-)

Google Navigation on a HTC Desire is fantastic, if you don't like that, there's always Co-Pilot.

I'd been using Tom Tom on a HTC HD for a while but Google Navigation on my wifes Desire has been just as good.

I would disagree.

I have a Nokia X6 which I got free on contract with unlimited data, and it has free Ovi maps with turn by turn navigation, walk or drive.

Used it for a fair few work trips, it is accurate, plenty of settings such as speed limits, safety camera warnings, shortest route / quickest route option, map re-routing etc etc.

Guess it ok if you have fast unlimited data....

As don't the nokia maps download as there needed ?? (think i remember my n95 8gb did this)
Not much good on my molibe wap connection..

People saying Google maps, this is internet only, or can you use GPS?

nope you can choose to download the maps to a memory stick and then they are only read from there so no data usage at all

Yes its still internet based, you need a connection for the maps!
