SAT NAV users....

Navman N60i .
I have this with the TMC option.

Brilliant piece of kit takes me door to door from UK to anywhere in Western Europe.

Cannot fault it, unlike my mothers tomtom

I prefer Navman as they use a better mapping supplier than TomTom (appart from the bike version for some reason ?!). I've run an old Navman 530 and TomTom with latest mapping as of December 06 and despite being ancient by comparison the Navman was miles better (it didn't try to get me killed by going the wrong way down one way streets that have been that way for at east 8 years). TomTom is easy to tweak and update/play with though.

Personally I now use CoPilot (it's on my mobile) and it's at least as good as TT but not quite as good as the NavMan.

My vote is for TomTom, as it has taken me all over Europe over the last 3 years(well over 15k mes there) don't know how I would manage without it now .

I like the tomtom, but its the only satnav ive used so cant compare to others. Its certainly fairly easy to use, but can be fiddly when you want to go somewhere specific like Silverstone racing circuit. Postcodes and addresses fine, but its a pain sometimes to find other things.

Tomtom recommended here aswell, used 5 or 6 (cheap) units and it seemed the easiest to use and had the best directions (ie it says second left when some just say left in 300 yards)

I deffo agree with that my mate has unit (not sure what make) and when you get several points to turn off in quick succession knowing straight off its the 2nd to take is quite a nice feature. :)
