hi am just wondering before i goto buy new harddrive can a sata 2 drive work on sata 1 motherboard is it backwards compatable and when i goto upgrade to new motherboard would a sata 1 harddrive work with a sata 2 motherboard sorry if it sounds a newbie question but am new to this stuff and dont want to waste money on a drive.
