SATA-150 setting needed on a SATA 300 Drive ?

Not sure what i'm on about but . . .

havent checked my newish samsung sata hd but read
if you use a sata300 drive you should use some jumpers
to step it down ?

anyone comment ?

drive - Samsung T133 400GB S300 7200RPM 8MB

cant get the board detials at the mo
