SATA 2 Controller Card

Since buying my new Biostar board with only 2 SATA ports, and i need 3. Im looking to buy a PCI SATA 2 card.

Ive seen the Adaptec ones on OCUK, but theyre quite expensive, i was looking to pay around the £20 mark.

Can anyone recommend one for this price?

There used to be a Vantec card on the site for about £20 but it only had one internal port. You might be scraping about to find one at that sort of money though, with modern boards having upwards of 6 SATA ports there isn't much of a market for add in cards.

If you can go for PCIe though, the old PCI bus only really has enough bandwidth to run a single HDD, you might find problems running 2 single disks from the same card and 2 in RAID0 will cause bus saturation.
