SATA 2 HDD in a SATA1 Motherboard

Sorry if this subject has already been established.

I have this motherboard

and i want to buy this hard drive

I dont want to go and buy the HDD and find out it dosnt work because the SATA2 HDD isnt compatable with my SATA1 motherboard

have a look in your motherboard book and there might be a jumper to change from sata 1 to sata 2

I have two of these running on my SATA 1 mobo, there is a jumper switch on the back of them to set them to SATA 1. I think it works the same way on most SATA 2 drives
