sata 2 to sata 3 worth it??

Hi, I'm just about to upgarde my main pc, going in is I5-2300, Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9, ASUS P8P67 motherboard which has sata 3 sockets.
My old pc has OCZ Vertex 2 120gg which is sata 2, main drive.
Would i notice any difference in real terms in upgrading to a sata 3 drive.
Please note this is not a gaming rig and not the one in my sig.

Any reason for going for the i5 2300? Way better off going for the unlocked 2500k so you can overclock it. Youll get better benchmarks with sata3 but you wont really notice in day to day use.

Thanks for all the advice, dont think i'll bother upgrading to Sata 3.
AS for the i5 2300 its not going in my gaming rig, just the main pc (not the pc in the sig below) just every day stuff so dont need it overclocked, its on 24/7 so need it quite and cool..
