Has anyone managed to boot the StartTech a PCI-E SATA Controller on O/C:

Mine is recognised, the MB BIOS offers the option to the boot from it, but when selected it just hangs.
I'm attempting this with a Dell Precision T7500 and an Crucial RealSSD C300.
Driving me mad... any help appreciated.

Contacted StartTech support and their response was:
"I'm afraid there may be an incompatiblity between your chipset and the PEXSAT32 adapter. "
Great, incompatible with the Intel® 5520 chipset... seemed like a cop out to me.
