I have just bought a SATA II 320 Gb hdd and a DS3P motherboard, its as totally new system.

1. Can I use my existing XP cd?
2. How do I go about setting it up as a SATA Hdd as first time round I got standard IDe it seemed. I don't want RAID. Well not yet anyway.

Thanks for any help.

PS I aint got a floippy drive and where do you get cables to fit a floppy drive considering the Corsair 520W does not come with iots own floppy disk cable?

1) Yes, although if it's an OEM disk then it's technically against the EULA to install on a second machine.

2) If you set the SATA controllers to Legacy mode in the BIOS then XP will install without the need for drivers.

The 620 does come with dual floppy cables. They plug onto a molex string to give 2 floppy connections. So double check your bag.

Thats not good, mine definetly didn't. I bought from overclockers who do I need to speak to, is there anyone on here I can speak to.

I see no reason why you would not get this in a 520. I would email corsair, explainign that it never came with them. Perhaps some numpty forgot to put a pair in for you. Unfotunately i only got one, so i cannot send you a 'spare'. Heres a pic.

My Corsair 520 came with the cable for the floppy, exactly like the one in the pic above.
