Hi Guys,
I just bought a new optical drive. It's SATA not IDE like my previous drive so I am faced with a problem.
The sata connectors of which there are 3 are spaced out about 3-4 inches apart from each other.
The problem here is that the distance between the drive bays and the hard drives are at least another inch or two further, so the cable can't stretch to the optical and the HDD's.
I'm wondering if this is because my PSU wasn't designed with this in mind as IDE optical drives have always been the norm?
I have an OCZ StelthXStream 600W Psu.
Are there any extension cables I can get or anything?
