SATA cables - which way around?

Just got a couple of new SATA cables and interestingly one end has a stickly label which says 'DRIVE' and the other end has one which says 'SYS BRD' suggesting that they have to be connected this way around.

I know that IDE cables have specific motherboard connector (usually blue) but I've never come across this is SATA before.

Does it really matter which way they are connected, or are the stickers just nonsense?

Pretty much confirms what I thought. I think that Trippynet's theorry might well be right, that they've probably only done it to stop people asking which way round the lead goes

Think I'll pull the stickers off anyway
