SATA cables

How come OCuk only sells 45cm SATA cables? I need about 20cm to connect my HD array and keep it short and tidy.

Most people buying SATA cables are looking for LONGER ones becasue the extra length can make it easier to both use large cases and tidy average sized cases. It's a matter of market demand, I expect.

well I prefer ALL cable as short as possible. Even for 1cm

ps: maybe I am too biased from propagation over length in electronics

You can get 20cm cables of course cannot tell you where.

I don't know how many hard drives you have but didn't you get enough with your motherboard? I go two pretty short cables with mine and as for the rest of my hard drives, I just tuck the cables out of the way.
