SATA controller card recommendations

I have spotted an alright deal for a new sata hdd & I'm thinking of putting it into my socket a machine that I use amongst other things for downloading etc.

Now the motherboard only has two sata ports which are used by a hdd and a dvdrw so I want to know what recommendations people have for sata controller cards?

Cheapest you can find, so about £5 for 2 ports and £10 for four. They all use one of a small number of chipsets, usually Silicon Image in the cheapest ones and they all performa the same.
