SATA Drive intermittent

I've got a problem with my second SATA drive, in that it does not always appear.

Sometimes its fine and shows up and other times, nothing, not in BIOS or windows.

Any ideas?

I am thinking about reformatting it to see if that changes things.

Check Cable is in securely, swap cable ideally to test, least its not Controler if other HDD is fine.

Changed cable - at first it came up and i thought

, then after a second reboot, it's disappeared!!

Looks like PCB on HDD is dodgy.

Have you checked the power feed too ?

Changed cable and power feed - no improvement :confused:
