Sata drive question???

Hi i want to order a (300 GB Maxtor DiamondMax Plus10 SATA2 OEM ) in place of an 80GB IDE drive for my old a7n8x deluxe motherboard. I know its only sata 1 but i thought i would get sata 2 for a motherboard upgrade later on. My question is do i need a special power connector adaptor for the new drive I have the sata cables is just the power cable is it different or just a typical connector as a normal IDE ,Thanks for any help

Personally, I'd rather fork out £8ish more for Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320GB ST3320620AS SATA-II 16MB Cache - slightly more space and Faster as well.

I've got a 2 Maxtor 120GB, came with my prebuilt system. They're hell noisey...

I wouldnt worry about Sata2 too much either, its not yielding any kind of marginal increase over regular sata at the moment, though hopefully for all of use this will change.
