Sata expansion?

Hi, I have in my computer 4 hard drives, I would like to run them all sata, Unfortunately my motherboard only has 2 sata ports, And a 3rd sata2 port, The sata2 port seems to be playing up, Not sure why, Basically my hard drive will write perfectly, But if i try and play a movie or burn from the drive, it dies. It's defiantely the port, as the drive works fine when i plug it into a sata port.

What i'm wondering is, Is there a sata expansion card? Or a way of running more than 1 drive on 1 sata port? Like with IDE you can run 2 drive on 1 cable.

Can buy a pci sata card; some are capable of Raid whilst others aren't. Generally under £20.

I have a pci sata card, picked up for a tenner, unfortunatly I cant boot from it, just something you might want to look out for
