I have been pondering on whether to upgrade my SSD in the near future, but I actually cannot see much of a reason for it. Maybe I am missing something.
SATA Express is not too far away, but apart from bandwidth what else does that tech really bring? As I understand it it won't make Windows any more responsive or load things any faster (maybe a few %). Mainly would be file transfer. It won't make games load any faster either, not in the double percentage figures anyhow.
I currently have a Samsung 840 250GB SDD and even though the 850 PRO looks great on paper, for my use I can't see how it will make a difference. Would I see a difference for day to day Windows 8.1 use or games?
