sata hdd or eide hdd - what draws less power

ok have a sff rig here

its an asus t2-p that i have to upgrade,

it has a quality ?? 200w psu that used to run a 6800le no problems at all

reckon it will be fine for a 7600gs

next questio nis need a new HDD will be 250GB

board takes std eide or sata

anybody know what draws less power

I doubt you'll see much difference in power consumption between the IDE and SATA versions of the same drive, simply because the only difference between the two will be small changes to the PCB to accommodate the different interfaces.
