What sort of gains would you expect? as I am looking at

For the same price getting a 64GB SSD and then using your existing hard drive for games and media makes more sense.

I've not got one myself, but I'm skeptical. I think that outside of a few scenarios, like a windows boot, the cache isn't large or intelligent enough to make much difference.

a gain of around 436Gb on the pure SSD?

Are you looking at this for a laptop, and if so does it have 2 hard drive bays?

Desktop but I do a lot of video editing so a pure SSD is out of the question.
