SATA/IDE Dock

hi guys,

I've got two laptops that no longer work but I think the drives are good. I'd like to image whatever is on them so what's the best approach?

I keep seeing these USB SATA/IDE docks on certain auction sites and just wondered if they're worth the asking price

Sata docks are handy, I wouldn't spend much on any IDE kit, very unlikely to ever use it again.

If it's for laptop drives, just buy cheap enclosures for them, loads of ~£5-10 options around.
