Anyone remove the pin for SATA-II to enable as SATA-300?? only if you plug SATA-II with same cable into port then you can remove the pin which usual default as for SATA-150 -- I dont use Floppy (IDE), ATA-133 and SATA-150 cos ive disabled and only I used are SATA-II so Ive removed 2 of Seagate SATA-II hard drive then enable as 3G - seem ok but there is no difference between 150 and 300 only you just take the pin out if using SATA-II only

Sorry, that sentence is giving me a headache but I've answered what I think you are asking. If you have a SATA 300mb/s capable motherboard then remove the jumper, if not then leave it on as not all motherboards are autoswitching. Additionally you will only notice a difference to burst speed, even the fastest SATA drives will 'only' get about 85mb/s (roughly) transfer rates sustained.

Sorry my English still wee mess... Im trying to wee bit better English (I only blame my teacher at deaf school for not give us improvement English)

Yes I noticed the difference in burst speed. Im just trying to see when remove the pin.
