SATA-II USB2 Enclosures

Hi,

This is going to sound stupid, and goes completely against the whole idea of SATA-II, but I was hoping I could stick a SATA-II drive into an external enclosure and use it as a portable drive- possible or not? I know some of the enclosures sold by OC support SATA drives, but do they also support SATA-II?

SATAII is backwards compatible with SATA
