I'm thinking about getting a Mac soon, as i seem to spend almost no time playing games anymore and i feel like trying out OSX. Thing is i would like to still have a PC running as well, but it would be quite handy to keep all my music and data in some type of NAS solution so that i could access them from whatever system i was on at the time.
There does'nt seem to be a great deal of choice around in this area unfortunately, the Netgear SC 101 is the kind of thing i am looking for, but it's IDE only which is no good to me. There also seem to be a bunch of ready built products with HDD's already installed, but seeing as i have a decent sized RAID setup as is, it seems like a waste of money going for one of those.
Can anyone recommend me a decent system that will accept SATA drives? I don't really mind what interface it is (Firewire/USB etc..), because speed is'nt a huge issue, i just want soemthing that will be simple to use and reliable.
Thanks for any help.
