SATA PCI card

Hi

I've run out of SATA connections on my mobo but I have 1 pci slot left.

Does any 1 know / link a pci card that will have 2 or more sata connections on it?

Also cheaper the better?

Those are PCIe, not PCI.

Typing 'SATA PCI' into Google comes up with a multitude of options. OcUK don't appear to sell anything suitable, and any linking would probably break the forum rules.

You've obviously only got a PCI slot available, but it isn't a good place for a SATA adapter due to the low bandwidth.

its for the htpc / server so only have a pci slot available.

saw a few cheapies on teh bay but wud have rather bought one from somewhere more reputable.

right just double checked my mobo and I have a pci-e slot at the bottom just gotta make sure my sound card isn't blocking it.

would that 1 linked above be alright then?

Those cards should be okay. Startech's stuff is usually pretty good.
