I have a pair of raptors as my boot drive (in a raid)

The Raid controller is the nVRAID on my DFI lanparty SLI-D UT, now this obviously works fine in XP with the drivers on floppy (press f6 foor 3rd party drivers when installing winXP)

Has anybody successfully installed vista onto an nVRAID?
Can vista use the XP drivers (i Very much doubt it) ?
The only drivers for nVRAID that i can find are in the unified driver pack that doesn't have a separate boot disk download, does this mean vista can install with rudimentary generic drivers, just needing the proper drivers.

I've got a feeling i need to install vista from a single (separate ) drive?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as id rather hear from someone who had done <tried> this before i go and bodge it as i go along.

Thanks a lot in advance!!

My nforce4 raid 1 mirror was picked up out of the box by the vista install... (Business Upgrade that came with our Action pack) - no driver disks required.

Hope that helps !

Ah phew! So vista actually has the drivers built in!! Sweetabix. just thought id get that cleared up before I go ahead and install vista

just before i go anyone installed on an nVRAID, RAID 0?
