SATA RAID: Do I need to reformat Windows?

Simple really, do I have to reformat my OS drive if I wanted to RAID my current Raptor 74GB?

Then it's simply:

Create new array
Stripe Size (64K is a good in-between)
Install Windows
Install RAID drivers from floppy when prompted
Boot from new array

Just need a quick second opinion.

You don't need to format the drive before creating the array although the array creation step will wipe the drive so you'll need to backup everything first.

So the array creation is essentially a format of the drive.
