SATA System

Hi

Ive got a Sata Raid system (Asus A8N SLi Premium) at the moment using the NVRaid Chipset on ports 1 & 2. I've just bought a new Sata HD and when i connect it, it isn't being recognised. I was just wondering if you can have a Raid system and an additional HDD on the same controler.

Use the non-raid SATA controller connectors? (AFAIK you have red and black SATA, AFAIK one set of four is RAID, other standard SATA)
