SATA to Compact Flash Adapter?

Wouldn't the price of the decent sized CF cards make it less justifiable next to SS drives?

Otherwise I like the idea, but still, limited writes might not make it the best solution for your O/S.
 
Haha, what a brilliant little gadget. Throw in a good speed and reliability 4GB CF card for £35 and a lightweight installation of XP and you've got a great little HTPC HD. Coupled with perhaps an external USB drive for storage and transfer of films for your main pc. As long as the CF card could survive about a year of use as an OS, then get replaced for another £35 this could be great for custom pc modders, and htpc builders.
