I searched the faq and didnt quite inspect every bit of it, so apologises if this has been answered, but could a SATA Hard Drive work with an IDE converter, and vica versa? because I see the Asrock AGP Mobo mentions Sata conections, but no mention of IDE, but if you have IDE hard drives then that mobo becomes a bit useless? or can you convert the two and it wont do anything? perhaps a performance hit or? Many Thanks to whoever can help :)

Hi. You can get a converter that plugs into your IDE hard drive and it converts to a SATA connection. I can't post a link because it's a competitor but if you google IDE to SATA Converter, it's within the first 3 results.

It's a bit pricey though so depending on the size of your Hard Drive, it might be worth selling your current one on ebay and buying a SATA one

Yeh I meant that one, I must have skipped over the IDE part, it is late afterall! :p, but Many Thanks to both of you :D
