sata to usb

guys is there anything wrong with buying a cheapo sata to usb type thing on ebay, or should i really get a branded one? if branded, which brands are reliable?

The cheapo ones from ebay will probably just come in a plastic bag with no instructions/cables/goodies etc and may be unreliable for prolonged used, I used to buy 2.5 to 3.5 adapters from ebay in the past and they would come from Hong Kong and wouldn't be of great quality, good for a few uses and then they can just stop working.

I'd go for a branded one personally.
