They've had some reason cars in the last season or two, so could be one to watch.

the first words that spring to mind is..................surely that step does have an effect? look at the angle of it lol.
 
However, I must say that Im impressed of how tidy that back end looks.......apart from the nose that looks to me very competitive.

probably adds downforce (although not much) and deflects the air over the cockpit area into the airbox above the drivers head

Back of that car looks . . unfinished.
Someone at work has pointed out that given the almost identical profile of the front of the cars this season (Mclaren excluded) could a team configure their rear defusor to generate an air current that would be targetted specifically at upsetting the balance of the car behind?

It's probably theoretically possible, but it would make the car itself a pig to drive and therefore slow anyway, meaning it probably wouldn't be in front of another car for long.
