Saucepan recommendations

I like the look of this company only for the fact they will refurbish your product should it fail, I might also be biased because it was born of the city of a thousand trades!
 
I got a Scoville set a few years ago which is still in good condition - coating still fine.
 
I personally buy saucepans individually as sometimes you need 2 medium and a large, not a small one.

Actually my current saucepans are about 5 years old - they were a clearance bargain at work of our posh range as changed something very small like the shape of the hole in the handle.

Had some Tefal ones which I got rid off as handles were getting very loose and unable to tighten as machine bolted on. Last thing I wanted was the handle to drop off when pan was full of hot water/hot food

My parents have 40 year old Prestige ones with copper bottoms. Purchased an identical one in a charity shop for £2
 
Doing my research on this at the moment; weighing it up between 100% ceramic, stainless steel, cast iron, carbon steel, etc.

Needs to be non-toxic cookware.
 
Stainless multi-ply pans from either John Lewis' or KitchenAid are my go-to. Last a lifetime when cared from properly, simple to look after and work with every stove, hob and oven.

I absolutely cannot stand any pan that has rivets inside - they need to be smooth. Easier to clean, easier to cook with.
 
I bought a set of Le Creuset cast iron enameled saucepans second hand off eBay for under £50 15 years ago and they're still going strong - the weight of them help to keep the muscles in check as well :D
