After a lot of moaning from the likes of several members p) the Manchester Meet 3 thread is finally making an appearance.
The last 2 meets were a total success if I say so myself, and I want to see this one even better! We want more people attending with more fancy cars, mainly to show those French boys how to do it properly.
Going on from the thread we had a month ago, the date for MM3 is going to be Sunday 19th March. That's just under 4 weeks away.
I'm going to be fancy again this time and prepare hand outs with a few notes on about the route. If people would please read them this time, instead of going the wrong way at junctions meaning I have to chase after them to point them in the right direction
Meeting place will be the same as the previous two meets...

The only petrol station is at the services. There are no other stations en route so make sure you have enough for 50ish miles of fast driving.

MAJOR POST UPDATE
Sunday 19th March 2006 - Meet at 11am
M62 Eastbound, Services between J18-J19
The day will go something like this...
- Meet up at Service Station, 11am
- Introduce yourself, take photos, chat about the day ahead, setting off for lunch at 12pm - Carry on down the M62 coming off at junction 22. Take the left turning *watch out for the cattle grid* and follow it round for a few miles. Enter carpark of 'The Turnpike Inn'
- Have lunch and discuss the day ahead, finish meal around 1:30pm
- Set off through a small village en route to the 'good roads' - Maps will be provided
- After running one lap of the 'circuit', proceed to enter another village. When at the junction, turn right. You'll see the large pub on the corner. Car park just behind it.
- Head off for one more run, stopping along the way for photo opportunities just after dead mans junction
- At this point, people are free to do as they wish. On the first meet, some of us went back to the 2nd pub for a final drink
So come on, get your names down! I want this meet to be bigger and better than the previous two
