Save yourself upto £120 when buying two X1900's and.......

Yet again, good work Gibbo, bringing good deals to us

Seems that you are working over time on cutting prices, getting new products in and giving us the best you can.

Personally, If I was to get a Crossfire bundle, I would get the 2nd one. The MSI board seems to be the better one.

Are we likely to see, X1800 XT Crossfire bundles and SLI bundles?

Thanks Gibbo :)

Well no X1800 bundles bundles I am afraid.
Possibly SLi bundles for the future but we only do these bundles when the manufacturer pays us for doing so. :D

Just one thing with the bundles.

Surely if you are going to pay for two X1900XT/X cards you are going to be getting 2Gig of ram. Bundle 2 looks good otherwise.

You are right, but some people are price motivated hence the cheap bundle without RAM.

The most popular bundle will no doubt be just the 2 cards and motherboard as most people will already have memory.

hmmm surely if you're buying a motherboard it's new upgrade system, and perhaps existing memory isn't enough (ie 512MB) or different type (DDR 2 or type in Pentium 3 system) So IMO bundles with memory would be good.

Are you blind?

There are also bundles with memory.

Way to talk with customers....
and yes I do have bad eyesight.
Even with bad eyesight, you could read what Gibbo just said, so surely you're more than capable of seeing a picture of some memory in one of the bundles?

Are you going be doing any deals on an x1900 Crossfire Edition card with RD580 board for us people who has already brought an x1900xt from ocuk...

ATI are only paying us when we sell two cards as a bundle unfortunately. I have asked but they are initially saying no....

For now X1900 master cards are a good price and for the first time ever Crossfire is giving SLI some serious competition even with RD480 based boards and with RD580 with more features I can see Crossfire taking the lead.....

Thanks for the quick reply gibbo.

The x1900 Crossfire Edition card being slower then my xt1900xt-x and costing £50 more puts me right off buying one for a crossfire setup for now.

Sorry gibbo i can't agree that £75 more for a Crossfire Edition card over the standard x1900xt is a good price...

Well ATI carge more for Crossfire cards and that means we also charge more as well...............

What about a bundle with the X1900XT instead of the X1900XTX?

If I understand crossfire correctly the slave card will run at the speed of the master card. As the master card is clocked to the same speeds as the X1900XT isn't the X1900XTX wasted?

Yummy Yummy, I blame this site for me always being skint! :P

Bundle 3 looks Sweet. Just a shame about the memory, ITS NOT BAD MEMORY mind you, Dont get me wrong. Its just i've got my eye on the 3500LL stuff, So its personal. hehe
