WTF is it ???

Went to chippy for chippy tea and saw it on the menu. From what i can gather i think it might be those over red sausages, any help here ? oh and what do they taste like?

Just a longer version of your standard pork sausage. I've only heard it being used in southern chippies though. Certainly here in the north we just say a 'big' sausage as opposed to a normal sausage.

but they do normal sausages (jumbo and small) and these, oh and one more thing, do you eat the very red bit or do ya peel it off ???

A disgusting British dish that must have been based on a dare. It surely has to be the southerners version of haggis. Basically it comprises of a load of minced offal (pigs brains) stuck into a sausage and boiled.

To be honest I would have to drink at least 10 pints before considering.

just a load of offle rolled into a long sausage, if you read the box in the shop (we got given our chips in one a while back) it's got horse and everything in them :(

go for a large cod instead :p

saveloy are possibly the best sausage there is. used to have them in every fishshop till i moved then no-one had even heard of em, i mean wtf? :|

go try one :) i know i now have a craving for one
