That's the point, they're seeing how low they can go and keep people interested - it could end up being counterproductive though.

Unfortunately anything more was likely to be rejected and unlike Octopus who are still paying for unknown reasons the smaller players cant do that.

This is the first year I've taken part, and whilst I opted in at the beginning, I've never received prior notification of a SS from Octopus

Whilst the bonus is nice it would be nice if all the companies got together and just not offered anything, dfs really want to try and get the absolute bare minimum and its going to come back and bite them in the backside one day.

Yeah well I won't be bothering. Lessons learnt from this winter too, won't be bothering with givback again. Rates have been lower than octopus which I knew would likely be the case but the trade off was the supposed automation which has been rubbish

I got a WhatsApp notification at 17:00, nothing from the app, but then it was aware I'd already opted in.
